PHILIPPINES / THAILAND / VIETNAM

For problems that arise overseas,
a breakthrough built on facts.

The money you sent has not come back.
You can no longer reach the other party.
You do not know what has happened.

Financial trouble or suspected fraud overseas is difficult to verify because it crosses national borders. There is a wide range of information to confirm, including the other party's identity, the reality of the transaction, the recipient of the funds and the situation on the ground.

TSK INTERNATIONAL accepts inquiries about overseas trouble and suspected fraud, mainly in the Philippines and also in Thailand, Vietnam and other countries.

We distinguish facts from speculation and cross-check public information and materials that can be obtained lawfully. We also help you organize the information you will need when consulting the police, a lawyer or other professionals.

COMMON CROSS-BORDER DISPUTES

Common Inquiries About Overseas Trouble and Fraud

Overseas trouble takes many forms, from financial problems between individuals to contract disputes in international business. Even where fraud is suspected, whether a crime has actually been committed depends on the individual circumstances and on legal judgment.

CASE / 01

Loss of contact after an overseas remittance

The other party stopped responding after you sent money to someone living overseas, such as in the Philippines. We organize the purpose of the remittance, the other party's explanations and the history of the transaction.

CASE / 02

Suspected international romance scam

Someone you met through social media or a dating app asked you to send money for reasons such as illness, travel, marriage or investment. We examine whether the other party's explanations are true.

CASE / 03

Overseas investment and business funding problems

You provided funds to an overseas business or investment project, but no dividends or repayments have been made. We review the business entity, the terms of the contract and publicly available information.

CASE / 04

Financial disputes with overseas business partners

For example, you paid for goods that were never delivered, or a business partner suddenly stopped responding. We cross-check the history of the contract against the company's actual business activity.

CASE / 05

Personal loan disputes with foreign nationals

Money lent to an acquaintance or partner living overseas has not been repaid. We organize the agreed repayment terms, communication history and existing information about the other party.

CASE / 06

Problems with overseas real estate and joint ventures

After investing in overseas real estate or joining a local business, you found that the contract terms differ from reality. We cross-check public records and documents held by the parties involved.

* The above are examples of general inquiries. They do not guarantee that we have a track record of resolving such cases or that we can handle every type of investigation.

IMPORTANT / IMMEDIATE ACTION

What to Do First If You Realize You Have Been Defrauded Overseas

If you have already sent money, in some cases you need to contact your financial institution or the police before consulting an investigation agency. Please give top priority to preventing further loss.

ACT WITHOUT DELAY

Stop any additional payments.
Preserve evidence.
Consult the relevant authorities.

Emergency measures concerning your account or the movement of funds are decided and carried out by financial institutions and authorities. A detective agency cannot freeze accounts or have lost funds returned.

01

Do not send any more money

Do not readily comply with new requests for payment in the name of taxes, deposits, cancellation fees, withdrawal fees and the like.

02

Contact the financial institution you used

If you suspect an unauthorized transfer or fraud, consult the official contact point of your bank or remittance service promptly.

03

Report the damage to the police

Consult the appropriate public authorities, such as the police or cybercrime units in Japan and in any country connected to the incident.

04

Save communications and remittance records

Keep messages, URLs, the other party's profile, transfer receipts and contract documents without deleting them.

NOTICE / Beware of secondary victimization

Please also be cautious of anyone who says, "We can definitely get your money back," or "We will refund you if you pay the recovery fee first." Do not readily trust the explanations of companies that guarantee recovery.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQ on Overseas Fraud and Dispute Investigations

I sent money to the Philippines and can no longer contact the other party. Can you investigate?

Based on the information the other party provided and the circumstances of the transfer, we can consider which matters can be investigated. However, we do not guarantee that fraud will be established, that the other party's whereabouts will be confirmed, or that lost funds will be recovered. Please first consult the financial institution you used for the transfer.

Can you investigate someone I met through an overseas romance scam?

We can consider an investigation that checks the consistency of the public profile, the information the person provided, and the records you hold. If a false name or impersonation has been used, it may not be possible to identify the actual person.

Can you recover the money I lost to an overseas investment scam?

Our investigations are intended to verify facts and organize relevant information, and we do not guarantee the recovery of lost funds. For refund claims or legal action, please consult a financial institution, the police, or a lawyer.

Can I consult you even if I don't know the other party's name or address?

Yes. Please let us know whatever information you currently have, such as communication history, social media accounts, remittance records, and contracts. If there is very little information, an investigation may be difficult.

Do you also handle fraud-related problems in Thailand and Vietnam?

We accept consultations on overseas problems involving Thailand and Vietnam. We will review each country's laws and regulations, the information that can be obtained, and local conditions to determine whether we can take on the case.

Can you help organize materials to submit to the police?

You may consult us about organizing information obtained through our investigation, as well as related materials you already hold. Accepting a formal damage report and conducting a criminal investigation are the responsibility of the police and other relevant authorities.

Can I consult you even if I'm not yet sure whether it is fraud?

Yes. You can consult us about an investigation to clarify the facts, such as whether the issue is a contractual dispute, whether there are unnatural explanations, or whether a criminal matter is suspected. Final legal judgments are made by qualified professionals.

What happens if the other party cannot be verified after an investigation?

In some cases, sufficient information about the subject or company cannot be obtained. The scope of the investigation, report contents, fees, and other terms are governed by the contract conditions. We will explain these to you before the investigation begins.
